    Looks like ASUS also added support back in July - The latest bios for the Maximus X Code is 1602, dated 2018/7/10 and it lists support for Intel Core 9000 series.

    Well I believe the i9's used a different CPU socket and this updated would not be supported.
    Also I don't believe there is a 9th generation I9
