Forget that---when you do a clean install, theres currently no way to switch from YPbPr to RGB for HDMI connections---they stopped including the mini-CCC like 2 updates ago.
Thankfully, I havent had any issues that required a clean install yet, it kept my old settings. YPbPr causes desktop artifacts for me.
I hope you're kidding, because my HDMI display looks like ass if I don't manually switch it to RGB. Hopefully I don't need a clean install any time soon.
It's still there, it's just in "settings or preferences" (can't remember exactly, but on the bottom) the select "additional radeon settings" and it will launch that mini ccc panel where you can change rgb, scaling, color bits etc. They just moved the option, but it's still there.

*sigh Still no fix for key shortcuts to profiles. Crimson is probably great! I wouldnt know.11.1 is all I can use or I lose the ability to change profiles via keyboard. GG AMD, not.

Profiles? Couldn't you just make per-application settings? 11.1 was a long time ago, the trade-off must be worth it by now.Cellar Door - Tuesday, May 24, 2016 - link
