ATI Radeon 9800 Performance
From the reference card to the highest speed card, here is about an 8.6% increase.
Only just about 2% performance improvement is seen over the range for this game.
Here, we have a 6.5% performance gain from stock to fastest showing that Jedi Academy running AA/AF under an overclocked 9800 card gives frame rates a better boost than when running without AA and AF.
Again, we get better improvement when antialiasing and anisotropic filter are enable. Here, we show a 10% improvement.
The same lineup for everything: Sapphire cards on top with the Crucial 9800 Pro 256 edging out the reference 9800XT every time.

Nice article. A passively cooled 9600XT?!...I've found my next video card. There is one thing that I am unclear about - the Seagate hard drive used in the test setup - is it an SATA drive?
