ATI Radeon 9800 Performance

From the reference card to the highest speed card, here is about an 8.6% increase.

Only just about 2% performance improvement is seen over the range for this game.

Here, we have a 6.5% performance gain from stock to fastest showing that Jedi Academy running AA/AF under an overclocked 9800 card gives frame rates a better boost than when running without AA and AF.

Again, we get better improvement when antialiasing and anisotropic filter are enable. Here, we show a 10% improvement.

The same lineup for everything: Sapphire cards on top with the Crucial 9800 Pro 256 edging out the reference 9800XT every time.

Were are the comparison charts between the overclocked and stock speed 9800pro's? I must be blind, because I can't see them.

Where can I find the passively cooled 9600XT by sapphire? Newegg shows sapphires 9600xt with a fan.

The Seagate HD: Barracuda 7200.7 PATA ... I'll add that to the table

Nice article. A passively cooled 9600XT?!...I've found my next video card. There is one thing that I am unclear about - the Seagate hard drive used in the test setup - is it an SATA drive?
